Our dedication and passion for quality have carried over into this new venture of our wine bar. Imagine a store where you can walk in, sit down, drink a glass of wine or a beer, fall in love with the glass you are using and walk out with a new set of wine glasses. At the Lounge @ Aviary, every item our customers use is for sale in one way or another. If you like the glassware, we sell it; if you love the chair, we have it in the warehouse or can custom order it; the tables, we sell them; the rugs, the lamps, even the cheese boards and cheese knives, all for sale.
Being well-traveled, we noticed a need that was not being satisfied by the choices available in our city. If you go to New York, LA, Buenos Aires or Paris, you will find standout shops that offer more than amazing wares and atmosphere. They also offer a lounge within which to experience their offerings. Our idea is to incorporate modern design from around the world along with wine, tapas and ambiance. We continue to feature exceptional designs from local designers, but now we support the creativity and innovation of one of the fastest-growing communities in the U.S. by also featuring locally made fine foods, cheeses and other gourmet delectables. Hello. Please allow me to introduce myself and my new wine importing and distributing company, Noble Wine Imports, located here in Austin. I import and sell wholesale a line of wines from a beautiful boutique winery in the Campania region of Italy called Vini Nobilis. I have recently visited this winery and met the four wonderful Italians responsible for making these wines. I am a lawyer who started a new career because wine is my passion (so is Italy).
I have 6 available moderately-priced wines (red, white, and dessert), and they are all unique and hard-to-find varietals. I am the exclusive distributor in Texas for Vini Nobilis, and they are being sold only in 5 states so far. Everyone who has tasted these wines in Austin has loved them. I’ve sold to several Austin-area retailers and restaurants.
